Habitat Restoration on Bolinas Ridge - Hosted by California State Parks and One Tam
Did you know that some grasslands on Mt. Tam are shrinking? Join our efforts to maintain these important areas! We will be using hand tools to remove small Douglas fir trees while enjoying sweeping views of the Bay and the Pacific Ocean. No experience is necessary, but work is moderately strenuous. Water, snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided; please bring a water bottle, footwear appropriate for variable terrain, long pants, gaiters if you have them, and long sleeves. This event is suitable for ages 12 and up; volunteers younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
