Rooted in Connection: A Guided Forest Experience

Rooted in Connection: A Guided Forest Experience

Source: One Tam Calendar

This guided hike invites community members to reconnect with land, self, and each other through the elements of nature—water, earth, air, and fire. At each stop, we’ll explore forest ecology while engaging in meditation and gentle somatic movement practices like Qi Gong. Each element will serve as a metaphor: grounding with earth, flowing with water, expanding with air, and igniting inner light with fire. Together, we’ll cultivate a deeper sense of belonging—to ourselves, our community, and the living world. This program invites participants of all experience levels to engage mindfully with the forest through curiosity, breath, and gentle movement.

When: Friday, October 24,  9:00-12:00 pm

Location: Lake Lagunitas, 2.6 mile hike

Max Capacity: 20

If there is rain on the day of the event, we will reschedule to the following Friday, October 31.
