Muddy Hollow to the Beach

Early fall is a great time to visit the different waterside habitats of this lovely area; from riparian woodlands where we’ll look and listen for migratory songbirds and evidence of tule elk, to a marshland tapestry along the lagoon, to lunch beside the beach where we might be treated to shorebirds foraging along the surf of Drake's Bay. Total miles: 4.8 miles. Elevation change: 200'. This walk is offered in partnership with Point Reyes National Seashore. Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel.
