Tuesday, July 8, 2025, 10am – 2pm

This is a lovely summer destination. We’ll slowly descend through a lush, shaded forest of Bishop pines as we make our way to Tomales Bay where we’ll enjoy lunch on a beautiful secluded beach. If we’re lucky we may be entertained by terns and bat rays while we eat. Total distance: 3 miles. Elevation change: 475' including a sustained, one-mile, uphill climb. Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Registration is required.
Questions: Contact Shannon Burke.
Directions: Meet at the Jepson trailhead. From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 20.4 miles to Olema. Turn right onto Hwy 1 and go 2 miles. Turn left onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd and go 6.4 miles to Pierce Point Road. Go right 1.0 miles, dirt parking lot is on the right (just after the sign "450-570 Pierce Point Rd"). If you get to the entrance to Heart’s Desire you’ve gone too far.
