Pacheco Valle Preserve

Join a ranger to get your body moving and heart pumping on this strenuous hike up and into Pacheco Valle. Distance: 6.5 miles; elevation gain: 1,300 feet. Appropriate for ages 15 and up. Dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water. Save time on the day of the event by signing in now. Directions: Meet at the gate at the bottom of Chicken Shack Fire Road. From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for Nave Dr. Turn right onto Nave Dr and continue over the freeway. Turn left onto Alameda del Prado. The gate is on your right.
