Waterfall Hike

 

Join an Open Space Ranger for a scenic walk along a beautiful trail that leads to a stunning waterfall hidden among the trees and a picturesque pond. Along the way, we'll discuss creek ecology, watersheds, and the importance of water conservation. Distance: 2.2 miles; elevation gain: 350 feet. Friendly dogs are okay but must be on a leash. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. To confirm the status, check the calendar or call (415) 473-2816 two hours before the event. Registration is required.

Directions: Meet at the College of Marin Indian Valley Campus in Novato, parking lot 6 (1800 Ignacio Blvd). From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the Ignacio Blvd/Bel Marin Keys Blvd exit west onto Ignacio Blvd and follow 2.5 miles through campus.
