Ring Mt Wildflowers

Truly one of the best wildflowers displays in the Bay Area, the fantastic floral diversity of this site makes this walk a “spring classic”. In addition to the many rare species found here, there are often expanses of goldfields, tidy tips, and other early bloomers; a multicolored carpet providing a foreground for spectacular views of the entire bay. This walk includes a few short, steep hills. Total miles: 2. Elevation change: 135'. Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Save time on the day of the event by signing in now. Be sure to check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Illness, adverse weather, or poor air quality may cancel.
