Historic McNears Beach Park

Come learn about the diverse and rich history of McNears Beach Park! We will spend our time together learning about the local First Peoples, Colonial California, the McNears family, and this region’s Chinese community.

Please dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Remember to bring a water bottle, snack, sunscreen, hat, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service animals) are allowed at this park. Park entrance fee is waived for participants. Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar on the morning of the event to see if it is canceled.

Registration is not required. For more information, contact Ranger Jeffrey at JGerbic@marincounty.org.
