Trailside First Aid Workshop

Get ready for your next outdoor adventure! Practice basic first aid skills like treating cuts, scrapes, and sprains, learn how to pack smart, and stay calm when the unexpected happens. With hands-on activities led by Open Space Rangers, you'll build confidence and safety skills for the trail. You'll also get to use moulage (realistic injury makeup) to bring your practice scenarios to life — and as a bonus, pick up some spooky-season makeup tricks just in time for Halloween! No experience required. Appropriate for ages 10 and older. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Call (415) 473-2816 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Registration required.
