Terra Linda Sleep Hollow Preserve

Join our Rangers for an evening stroll along the Eagle Rock Trail and experience the preserve as day turns into night. Discover how wildlife, plants, and the forest transform at sunset while you enjoy stunning views from one of the preserve's most picturesque trails. The hike covers approximately 3 miles on uneven terrain with about 450 feet of elevation gain. Distance may vary based on conditions and group pace. Appropriate for teens and adults. (We will host a family-friendly version of this program on October 11. Junior Rangers: Trailside First Aid with hands-on activities for ages 5-12.) No pets are allowed, except for service/companion animals. Dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes, and bring a headlamp or flashlight. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Call (415) 473-2816 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Registration is required.

Directions: Meet at the Eagle Rock Trail at the end of Del Haro Way. From Hwy 101 in San Rafael, take the Freitas Pkwy exit west, turn left onto Las Gallinas Dr, right onto Nova Albion Way, right onto Golden Hinde Blvd, and right onto Del Haro Way. Meet at the Eagle Rock Trail at the end of the road.
