Join Ranger Gabe and the Marin Stargazers at the Mount Burdell Open Space Preserve for an evening of stargazing. Objects that will be on display are a 5-day-old Moon, Mars, the colorful double stars Algieba and Cor Caroli, the Beehive cluster, the intriguing globular cluster M3 and we’ll dive deep into space to look at the distant Sombrero galaxy. Please dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes, bring a red flashlight and binoculars if you have them. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-2816 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Registration is required.
