We’ll get an early start to beat the heat and catch some morning singing. Bird activity should be in full swing: some species will be working overtime to feed their hungry broods, some will be tending newly fledged young, and a few will even be tending new nests. Total miles: 3.5. Elevation change: 400'. Remember to bring binoculars if you have them. No pets are allowed, except for service/companion animals. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel.

Directions: Meet at the gate on San Andreas Dr in Novato. From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for San Marin Dr west 2.3 miles. Turn right onto San Andreas Dr and follow approximately 0.5 miles. The gate is on the right (before dead end).
