Kent Island Restoration

Join us in restoring the unique ecosystem of Bolinas Lagoon and learning how to protect this oasis by identifying and removing invasive species that threaten it. Participation requires a brief rowboat ride. Appropriate for all ages.  We'll provide lunch and water. Bring gloves and a water bottle. No pets are allowed, except for service/companion animals. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Check the calendar or text/call (415) 250-0941 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Registration is required.

Directions: Meet at the public dock on Wharf Rd in Bolinas (across from the College of Marin biology lab). From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the Sir Francis Drake Blvd exit west 20.4 miles to Olema. Turn left onto Hwy 1 for 9.2 miles, right onto Olema-Bolinas Rd, left to stay on Olema-Bolinas Rd, and straight onto Wharf Rd for 2.3 miles.
