Family Walk: Buck Gulch

This canyon comes to life in the wet season; ferns and mosses are vibrant, banana slugs and newts are on the move, and we’ll look for interesting critters hiding under logs and rocks. We'll follow a creek-side trail to a lovely surprise spot for lunch. There will be a total of 4 creek crossings (2 out and 2 back). Crossing the creek can be a slippery and wet adventure so wear appropriate shoes! Strollers not recommended. Total miles: 1.5. There is little elevation change. Remember to bring lunch. No pets are allowed, except for service/companion animals. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel.
Registration is required.
