Exploring the Past of McNears Beach

McNears Beach Park

Join us for a short, guided walk as we discuss the park's history. Led by Francesca Bartalini, this event will delve into the different groups that have cared for the land over the years. We'll cover approximately one mile on flat ground. Wear layered clothing and sturdy shoes. Appropriate for all ages. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Directions: Meet at the Cafe Terrace in McNears Beach Park in San Rafael (201 Cantera Way). From Hwy 101 in San Rafael, take the exit for Central San Rafael east. Take 2nd St east, which merges into 3rd St, then turns into Point San Pedro Rd. Follow Point San Pedro Rd for 3.6 miles, turn right at Cantera Way, and follow to the large parking lot at the end.,
