Marin Headlands - Tennessee Valley

As we meander through this lovely valley we might get a glimpse of bobcats or jackrabbits. We'll pass through coastal scrub that could be teaming with birds, walk along a freshwater wetland, and enjoy lunch on the beach. This is an easy, fairly level trail. Total miles: 3.5. If the parking lot is full, parking is available along the road; give yourself plenty of time to find parking.
Remember to bring a lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed.
Be sure to check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Factors including illness, adverse weather, or Air Quality Index (AQI) that exceeds 150 on AirNow.gov may cancel events.

Directions: Meet at the Tennessee Valley Trailhead. From Hwy 101, take the Stintson Beach exit to Hwy I and follow .3 miles. Turn left onto Tennessee Valley Rd and follow to the parking area at the end of the road.
