Senior Stroll on the Rodeo Valley Trail

We'll take a short, leisurely walk through this beautiful valley on a fall morning. Along the way, we'll watch for migratory songbirds feeding among the willows and thickets, and migrating raptors circling overhead before they continue their journey south. This is a level, well-maintained dirt road.

Extreme weather cancels and events may be canceled if Air Quality Index (AQI) exceeds 150 on AirNow.gov. Check calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if cancelled. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Remember to bring binoculars if you have them.

For more information, contact Naturalist Shannon Burke at SBurke@marincounty.org

Directions: From Hwy 101, take the exit for Alexander Ave and follow the signs to the Headlands. Follow Bunker Rd (through the tunnel) and continue west down the valley. Meet in the large dirt parking lot on the right (after the stables on the left, and before Rodeo Lagoon).
