Senior Stroll: Raptors

Marin Headlands
Wednesday, October 15, 2025, 10am – 12pm

During the fall migration, thousands of raptors pass through the Marin Headlands. We'll take an easy walk along the valley floor as we discuss the various advantages and trends of raptor migration while keeping our eyes to the skies for these charismatic birds of prey. Remember to bring binoculars if you have them. No pets are allowed, except for service/companion animals. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Registration is required.
Questions: Contact Shannon Burke
Directions: Meet at the Miwok Trailhead on the east end of Rodeo Lagoon. From Hwy 101, take the exit for Alexander Ave and follow the signs to the Headlands. Follow Bunker Rd (through the tunnel) and continue west down the valley 2.9 miles. Park in the dirt lot on the right, just beyond the bridge at the top of the lagoon.
Sponsor: Parks
