Upton Beach
Saturday, September 3, 2022, 11am – 1pm

Head out to picturesque Upton Beach and let your creativity run wild! Join park rangers to build sandcastles and whatever else you can imagine using sand, seaweed, driftwood, shells, and more! Create your masterpiece as a group or work solo.

Please dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Remember to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat. No pets (except service animals) are allowed at this park. Park entrance fee is waived for participants.

Air Quality Index (AQI) that exceeds 150 on AirNow.gov, or other extreme weather may cancel events. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.

Directions: Meet at the beach near the north parking lot at Stinson Beach. From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 20.4 miles to Olema. Turn left onto Hwy 1 and follow 13.6 miles, turn right at the sign that says Stinson Beach Parking GGNRA and park in the first lot on your right.
