One Tam

What better way to celebrate National Trails Day then to spend it with MCBC Trail Stewards and the NorCal Cycling League as we care for the places we ride!

Since Dias Ridge Trail opened in 2010, MCBC has committed to an annual volunteer trail day to maintain the tread, drainage features and safety enhancements. This year we will focus on switchbacks at the upper portion of the trail that have been hammered hard by a number of wet winters. We will fill them, compact the material and shape the turns to perfection! There will be other treadwork tasks and possibly some light brush work (cutting back vegetation).

Meeting location: Dias Ridge Trailhead at Panoramic Highway (top of trail)

All are welcome, training offered, wear long pants, long sleeved shirt and durable shoes (preferably boots with toe support). If you have gloves, bring them, eye wear too. Tools, snacks and lunch provided. Eligible for community service hours.
