Muddy Hollow

Early fall is a great time to visit the different waterside habitats of this lovely area. We'll stroll along a riparian canyon as we keep an eye out for migrating songbirds and signs of other animals, and once we reach Limantour Beach we may be treated to shorebirds foraging along the surf of Drake's Bay. Distance: 4.5 miles. Elevation change: 200'. This walk is offered in partnership with Point Reyes National Seashore.

Remember to bring binoculars if you have them and lunch. Pets are not allowed (except service animals).

Air Quality Index (AQI) that exceeds 150 on AirNow.gov, or other extreme weather may cancel events. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.
