Early fall is a great time to visit the different waterside habitats of this lovely area; from riparian woodlands where we’ll look and listen for migratory songbirds and evidence of tule elk, to a marshland tapestry along the lagoon, to lunch beside the beach where we might be treated to shorebirds foraging along the surf of Drake's Bay. Total miles: 4.8 miles. Elevation change: 200'. This walk is offered in partnership with Point Reyes National Seashore. Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets are allowed, except for service/companion animals. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Registration is required.
