Las Gallinas Birds

The ponds at the Las Gallinas water treatment facility are a fabulous place to get close looks at a variety of waterfowl, plus there are usually plenty of hawks hunting for rodents and other prey in the surrounding fields. Total miles: 2.5. There is little elevation change. Remember to bring a snack, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel.

Registration is required. Use the automated system to sign up or cancel; event leaders do not manage registration.
