Hike to the Summit

Join Ranger Alec for a hike to the summit of White Hill, where you can enjoy panoramic views from the top. Along the way, there will be a discussion about the famous B-17 crash. This hike is appropriate for ages 13 and older. Lunch will be provided, and a menu will be emailed to you upon successful registration. The hike is challenging, featuring a total distance of 8 miles and an elevation gain of approximately 750 feet. Please dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water. Friendly dogs are allowed on leash. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-2816 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Directions: Meet at the roadside parking area near the top of White Hill Grade on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 8 miles. Park in the big gravel pullout on the right side, below the crest of the hill.
