Private money targeted at climate change mitigation and restoration is growing rapidly because it is a way for large donors, and small, to make a measurable and meaningful difference. This program will explore two parts of the landscape of philanthropic donations aimed at funding policy change, technological innovation, research, and specific projects to reduce atmospheric GHGs and protect the climate. Participants will learn about large scale private funding and the world of carbon offsets — two different approaches to giving money to help restore the climate. Learn how YOU can participate and help the planet.
