The influence of summertime fog keeps this area lush with year-round mosses and ferns. There are a few trail options to choose from after we've explored the pond where we'll look for waterbirds as well as songbirds in the surrounding trees. Total miles: 5 max. Elevation change: 900’ max (depending on the trail we take).
Remember to bring a lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed.
Be sure to check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Factors including illness, adverse weather, or Air Quality Index (AQI) that exceeds 150 on AirNow.gov may cancel events.

Directions: Meet at the Five Brooks parking lot. DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 20.4 miles to Olema. Turn left onto Hwy 1. Go 3.5 miles. Look for the Five Brooks sign, turn right onto the gravel road and follow to parking area.,
