Directions: Meet me at the end of Valleystone Dr in San Rafael., From Highway 101 in San Rafael, take the Marinwood St Vincent's Dr exit west on Miller Creek Rd 0.3 miles. Turn right onto Las Gallinas Ave 0.4 miles, then left onto Blackstone Dr 0.2 miles. Stay left and follow Valleystone Dr, park at the end.

This secluded valley is a great place to look for bugs, butterflies, and other animals. We'll take a slow walk to see who we can find. The canyon can be quite cold in the morning so bring extra layers and remember to bring lunch.
We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Remember to bring lunch. Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 AM on the day of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.
