The Estero Trail

This is a great time of year to explore the various coastal habitats this trail passes through. We'll discuss the wonders we find along the way as we make our way to the Estero to look for waterfowl and shorebirds and enjoy lunch with a waterside view of this unique estuary. This walk is offered in partnership with Point Reyes National Seashore.

Due to the Omicron variant’s high infectivity rate, in situations where you cannot maintain social distance, we recommend that all participants wear a mask. Enhanced face coverings are strongly encouraged (e.g., KN95, N95, respirator masks, or double masks).

Remember to bring a lunch and binoculars if you have them. Dogs are not allowed (except service dogs). Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.

Registration is not required. For more information contact, Shannon Burke at SBurke@marincounty.org.
