Cyanotype at Paradise

Join our rangers to learn about the ancient process of cyanotype. This early photographic technique is easy, fun, and nontoxic, and the images produced are of an intense, beautiful blue color. We’ll print cyanotypes using the sun and leaves and branches found in the park. Appropriate for all ages. Rangers will provide a tutorial and assistance, as well as T-shirts and paper for printing. No pets (except service animals) are allowed at this park. Park entrance fee is waived for participants. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel; if in doubt, text or call (415) 302-1034 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Registration is required.
