Corte Madera Marsh

The wetland that stretches along the bayside of Corte Madera is comprised of varying marsh types hosting a variety of shorebirds and ducks. We’ll explore the trails, visit the newly restored area, test our skills at identifying ducks in nonbreeding plumage, and see what shorebirds are here. How far we walk will depend on what we see. Total possible miles: 2. There is little elevation change. This is a flat, well-maintained dirt trail. Remember to bring binoculars if you have them. No pets are allowed, except for service/companion animals. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Registration is required.
