CANCELLED - Winter on the Mountain

This walk will give us sweeping views to the south as we traverse through serpentine chaparral to the West Point Inn where we'll stop for our picnic lunch. The south-facing, open slopes will give way to a lovely, forested trail for our journey back. Total miles: 3.7. Elevation change: 480'.
Remember to bring a lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed.
Be sure to check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Factors including illness, adverse weather, or Air Quality Index (AQI) that exceeds 150 on AirNow.gov may cancel events.

Directions: Meet in the Quarry Parking Lot behind Mt Tam’s Mountain Theater. From highway 101, take the East Blithedale / Tiburon Blvd exit, go west on East Blithedale 0.7 mi, left onto Camino Alto 0.5 mi, Right onto Miller Ave 0.5 mi, Left onto Montford Ave 0.2 mi, bear right onto Molino Ave 0.4 mi, continue straight onto Edgewood 0.7mi, bear left onto Sequoia Valley Rd 0.7 mi, right onto Panoramic Highway 4.5 mi, right onto Pantoll Rd 1.4 mi. Continue to the right of the Rock Spring parking area and follow Ridgecrest Blvd .35 miles. The Quarry Parking Lot is on the right.
