As we meander through this lovely valley we might get a glimpse of bobcats or jackrabbits. We'll pass through coastal scrub that could be teaming with birds, walk along a freshwater wetland, and enjoy lunch on the beach. This is a wide, fairly level trail. Total miles: 3.5. If the parking lot is full, parking is available along the road; give yourself plenty of time to find parking. Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel.

Directions: Meet at the Tennessee Valley Trailhead. From Hwy 101, take the Stinson Beach exit to Hwy I and follow .3 miles. Turn left onto Tennessee Valley Rd and follow to the parking area at the end of the road.
