CANCELLED - Estero Trail

This is a great time of year to explore the various coastal habitats this trail passes through. We'll discuss the wonders we find along the way as we make our way to the estero where we’ll look for waterfowl and shorebirds while enjoying lunch with a waterside view of this unique estuary. Total miles: 4. Elevation change: 150’. This walk is offered in partnership with Point Reyes National Seashore.
Remember to bring a lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed.
Be sure to check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Factors including illness, adverse weather, or Air Quality Index (AQI) that exceeds 150 on AirNow.gov may cancel events.

Directions: Meet at the Estero Trailhead. From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 20.4 miles to Olema. Turn right onto Hwy 1 and go 2 miles. Follow Sir Francis Drake Blvd 8.4 mi. Turn left at the “Estero Trail” sign follow .8 miles to trailhead parking.
