CANCELLED - Devil's Gulch

Tucked in a canyon of San Geronimo Valley, this lovely trail follows a salmon-bearing creek where, with rain and luck, we might spot fish moving upstream. We'll explore the lush understory, keep an eye out for birds, see if we can pick out California nutmeg among the other conifers, and try to find a sunny spot for lunch. Bring layers as it can be quite cold in this shaded gulch. There is little elevation change but the trail is narrow and uneven in places. Distance: 2.5 miles.

Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed.

Be sure to check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Factors including illness, adverse weather, or Air Quality Index (AQI) that exceeds 150 on AirNow.gov may cancel events.

Save time on the day of the event by signing in now
