This walk is for ages 18 and up. By now the breeding season is in full swing, the last of our migratory breeding birds are arriving, and everyone is advertising their territory and trying to impress each other. We’ll take some time teasing out the voices of each species as we discuss why birds sing and how different groups learn to sing and develop their individual songs. Remember to bring binoculars and a snack.
Rain may cancel. If questionable weather, call (415) 473-6087 after 7am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if cancelled. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.
No registration is required.

Directions: From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for San Marin Dr west 2.3 miles. Turn right onto San Andreas Dr and follow approximately 0.5 miles. The gate is on the right (before dead end).
