Deer Island Preserve

Explore the wonders of the night sky! On this evening, the moon will take on a reddish color and offer us a unique viewing opportunity. There will be a short walk up and down a trail at night.

Friendly dogs are welcome but must be leashed. Please dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Remember to bring a snack, flashlight, and binoculars if you have them. Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar on the day of the event to see if it is canceled.

Directions: Meet at Deer Island Preserve Entrance., From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for Atherton Ave east 1.7 miles. Turn right onto Olive Ave and left onto Deer Island Ln. The gate is on your right.
