Birds of Limantour

Meet at the Limantour Beach parking area.
This walk is for 18 and up. Every year a multitude of birds overwinter in the outer areas of the county and this is one of the best places to see a variety of them. We'll explore the estuary, beach, and open water looking for birds that have come to spend the winter here after migrating from their northern breeding grounds. Remember to bring binoculars if you have them.

Rain may cancel. If questionable weather, call (415) 473-6087 after 8am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if cancelled. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.

No registration is required. .

Questions: Contact Shannon Burke at (415) 473-6086.
