Birds of Bolinas Lagoon

Bolinas Lagoon is considered a Wetland of International Importance. It is visited by an array of migratory waterfowl, shorebirds, and land birds. We'll scan the lagoon for waterbirds, stroll along a canyon looking for raptors and songbirds, and then drive around the lagoon to Pine Gulch to explore a variety of habitats near this extremely productive ecosystem.

Please remember to bring a lunch and binoculars if you have them. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend. Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 after 8 am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if canceled.

No registration is required. For more information, contact Naturalist Shannon at SBurke@marincounty.org.
