McInnis Park

Join us as an animal detective! We will search for clues around McInnis Park to help us discover which animals may live nearby. Participants will learn to identify different animal footprints and other evidence. At the end, everyone will have a chance to cast an animal print to take home.

Due to the Omicron variant’s high infectivity rate, in situations where you cannot maintain social distance, we recommend that all participants wear a mask. Enhanced face coverings are strongly encouraged (e.g., KN95, N95, respirator masks, or double masks).

Adverse weather may cancel. Check the calendar on the morning of the event to see if it is canceled.

Directions: Meet at the Creekside Parking lot. From Hwy 101 in San Rafael, take the exit for Smith Ranch Rd east approximately 0.7 miles. Drive over the railroad tracks and continue straight, second parking lot to the right.
