Abbotts Lagoon

We’ll take advantage of the outer reaches of the county to enjoy the numerous species of birds that are found along the coast this time of year; some are migrating to southern destinations, some will stay for the winter, and some are local residents. This is a great place to see raptors, shorebirds, and waterfowl that aren’t as prevalent in other parts of Marin. Distance: 3 miles. There's little elevation change but we'll be walking on sand part of the way. This walk is offered in partnership with Point Reyes National Seashore.

Remember to bring a lunch and binoculars if you have them and lunch. No pets (except service animals) are allowed.
