We’ll enjoy a slow walk through dappled autumn light along this open woodland trail. As we climb to the ridge we’ll pass through an unusual area filled with hybrid oaks. We’ll discuss why this forest is particularly special, plus we’ll keep an eye out for spider webs, newly arrived migratory birds, and whatever else we can find. Total miles: 3. Elevation change: 250’. Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets are allowed, except for service/companion animals. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel.
Questions: Contact Shannon Burke
