Lecture: Wildflowers

Take a springtime walk anywhere in Marin and you'll likely see a wide assortment of wildflowers; whether you visit a cool redwood forest, serpentine grassland, or parched chaparral, the different habitats found here are home to a great diversity of flowering species. This talk will include some of the different strategies plants employ to entice pollinators, ways that plants go about dispersing their seeds, and some of the common and rare wildflowers found in the county.
