Santa Venetia Marsh

Join us for a stroll around beautiful Santa Venetia Marsh. This low-intensity, 1.2-mile hike is a great introduction to exercise for all ages. Come learn about native plants and animals that call this marsh their home. Distance: 1.2 miles; elevation gain: 10 feet. Appropriate for all ages. Bring water, a snack, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel; if in doubt, text or call (415) 473-2816 two hours before the event to confirm the status.

Directions: Meet at the Vendola Drive entrance. From Hwy 101 in San Rafael, take the exit for N San Pedro Rd east for 2 miles. Turn Left on Vendola Dr. Trailhead will be on your left.
