Family Walk: Stafford Lake

Stafford Lake Park
Sunday, May 7, 2023, 10am – 1pm
We’ll begin the day by looking for insects, amphibians, and other animals that might be living in the small pond near the lake. After that we’ll head up the Terwilliger Nature Trail to see what we can find among the flowers and the trees. Total miles: 2. Elevation change: 175'. Remember to bring lunch. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Save time on the day of the event by signing in now. Be sure to check the calendar or call (415) 473-6086 two hours before the event to confirm the status. Illness, adverse weather, or poor air quality may cancel.

Directions: Meet at Stafford Lake Park in Novato (3549 Novato Blvd). From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for San Marin Dr west 2.9 miles. Turn right onto Novato Blvd and follow for 2.6 miles. The park is on the left. Turn right after the gate house and follow to the last parking lot.
