Abbotts Lagoon Birds

We’ll take advantage of the outer reaches of the county to enjoy the numerous species of birds that are found overwintering along the coast this time of year. This is a great place to see raptors, shorebirds, and waterfowl that aren’t as prevalent in other parts of Marin. Total miles: 3. There's little elevation change but we'll be walking on sand part of the way. This walk is offered in partnership with Point Reyes National Seashore. Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel.

Questions: Contact Shannon Burke at SBurke@marincounty.org.

Registration is required.
