Senior Stroll on the Earthquake Trail

This short trail is a lovely place to spend a summer morning. We'll follow the level pathway as it passes through shaded woodlands and open meadows as we keep an eye out for birds, butterflies, and flowers, and of course we'll see the evidence found here of the 1906 Earthquake. Remember to bring binoculars, if you have them.

We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.

No registration is required.

Questions: Contact Shannon Burke at SBurke@marincounty.org or (415) 893-9520.

Directions: From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 20.4 miles to Olema. Turn right onto Hwy 1. Go 500 feet, turn left onto Bear Valley Rd. 0.6 miles, turn left on Bear Valley Visitor Center Access Rd. Parking area is on the left, past the driveway for the Red Barn.
