Muddy Hollow to the Beach

This is a beautiful area and early fall is a great time to visit its various waterside habitats. We'll stroll among alders as we look for migrating songbirds and once we reach the beach we may be treated to shorebirds foraging along the surf of Drake's Bay. The total walk is approximately 5 miles long and doesn't include any steep hills but we will walk along the beach for part of it. Remember to bring binoculars, if you have them.

Heavy smoke cancels: Call (415) 893-9527 after 8am on the morning of the event to hear a recorded message if cancelled. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.

No registration is required.

Questions: Contact Shannon Burke at SBurke@marincounty.org or (415) 893-9520.
