"Ferns and Trail Names" hike with docent Karen Ulring

On Sunday 7/26/2020 at 9:30 AM from Rock Spring trailhead, "Ferns and Trail Names" Fitness hike with docent Karen Ulring. 
Enter a garden of Eden as we twist and turn amidst the Redwoods and fern covered hillsides.
We'll be noting some historical figures whose names grace our trails: Ben Johnson, William Stapelveldt, and the Talmalpais Conservation Club. We'll hike down to the upper reaches of Muir Woods, then climb back up, with a short side jaunt of the Dipsea, then back to Rock Springs.
Distance (mi): 7.3. 
Elev Gain (ft): 1401. 
Difficulty: Moderately Strenuous

What to bring: Come prepared. Wear good hiking shoes/boots. Bring plenty of water, lunch and snacks. Hiking poles are recommended on this mountain.

Cancellation policy: Rain or winds above 30 mph will cancel.

Limited to 20 people. First come-first serve.
