Evening at Roy's Redwoods

This walk is for 18 and up. We’ll spend the evening learning about animals commonly associated with Halloween. The towering redwoods, grassland meadows, and mixed woodlands here make this a great place to look for spider webs and owl pellets, to see bats, and to possibly hear owls. As the light fades we'll discuss what makes these creatures so unique. Remember to bring binoculars.

Rain may cancel. If questionable weather, call (415) 893-9527 after 12pm on the day of the event to hear a recorded message if cancelled. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.

No registration is required.

Questions: Contact Shannon Burke at or (415) 893-9520.

Directions: From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 10.8 miles, turn right onto Nicasio Valley Rd. Gate is approximately 0.5 miles up on the right.
