Devil's Gulch

This walk is for 18 and up. Tucked in a canyon of San Geronimo Valley, this trail will take us along a salmon-bearing creek, where, if we've had early rains, we might spot fish making their way upstream. As we walk we'll explore the lush understory and see if we can pick out California nutmeg among the other conifers. For lunch we'll visit a sunny, grassy slope on the edge of the forest. Remember to bring binoculars.

Rain may cancel. If questionable weather, call (415) 893-9527 after 8am on the day of the event to hear a recorded message if cancelled. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.

No registration is required.

Questions: Contact Shannon Burke at SBurke@marincounty.org or (415) 893-9520.

Directions: From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 16.7 miles, the parking area is on the left (past Samuel P Taylor Park camping grounds).
